My Little Book Review.....Craving Caine by Erica Lucke Dean and Elise Delacrouix

Craving Caine

I have been fortunate enough to have picked 5 star reads this past few months.  This book however should get far more and a piece of the sky.

Craving Caine will surprise you, anger you, entice you, it will make you fall in love, cheer along and demand justice.

I appreciate a read that has the damsel in distress and the strapping knight in shining armor but this book puts a spin.

Emily Chambray is both a damsel and a fierce fighter of her life.  At a young age she fell in love and that love turned her dreams into a nightmare.  You go along a ride with Emily, one that is a run, a sprint, a stop and a return.  You live out her memories as they tell you how she got to where she is.  Emotionally and geographically.  I love this character, she is both the ignorance we sometimes let our heart have and the empowerment we end up needing.

Nick Chambray, he is who country singers sing about.  The 'Casanova', 'He thinks he'll keep her', 'Winner at a losing game' type of guy.  The kind of husband that makes divorce a winning event. However, he is also the kind of man that will now allow it.

Caine, (swoon) - mysterious, tempting, conflicting and the person that can either save or destroy Emily.  Which is it?

Now add some scum characters, traitors and a sexy backdrop called New Orleans and you've got yourself a great read.

Get your wine, candle and comfy sofa ready and GetUrReadOn with Craving Caine.

Oh yeah, this is the book that got this reader/reviewer back on track.

Authors - I am a fan of Erica Lucke Dean her buffet of writing does not disappoint.  She will write from love story to paranormal to mysterious romance to a blog about Waxing disaster.  I know when I start one of her books, she will surprise me and it will be nothing like what I had thought.  It is always better.  Check out her site - http://ericaluckedean.com/

Elise Delacroix - Other then Diamond Duplicity which was also co-written along with Erica Lucke Dean, I had not known of this author.  I do believe that together they write a fierce story and with a no holds bar attitude.  Check her out - http://www.cinnabarsilk.com/elise-delacroix/

My Little Review.....Diamond Duplicity (Jewels of Desire) by Erica Lucke Dean and Elise Delacroix

Diamond Duplicity (Jewels of Desire)

Sexy, erotic, mysterious and fast paced.  What more can you ask for?

Every once in a while I like to step out of my comfort zone. Alright... more then once in a while. Reading this book is just that. definitely out of my regular genre. Erica and Elise's latest Diamond Duplicity book took me out of the normal reads and gave me a smiling, hot read. I escaped into a read of a girl who is finding herself in the most no holds bar method EVER.
Why I loved it
This is my first read by Elise Delacroix and it seems she found a perfect fit with Erica Lucke Dean.
Who kept me reading
Lucy Mathews - Young and naive and quite ready to jump in a situation head first even with all the warning signals blaring away inside her. You just want to find out how far she will go and when she will finally stop long enough to ask herself 'What the hell?"
Max Callaghan - Well hell, if he existed in our lives at barely 21 many young woman would be in trouble and loving it. Even though this is a fast read, you find yourself anxious to find out whether he is as bad as he seems or is there something else?
A few other characters helped to make this funny and page turning worthy.
Sex, sex and more sex
Not for the shy at heart. I did say no holds bar at the start of this review. Let's just say if someone along your commute is reading over your shoulder you won't be the only one blushing.
The Authors intrigue
They did a fantastic job in making a fast read very interesting, mysterious, sexy and erotic. You are hating and loving a character, swooning and cheering for another. Way too short, I can't wait to read their next book which I already purchased, Craving Caine.
I hope to see many more books with these two Authors. Their combination of wit and intrigue has me as a fan.
I love it, loved it and loved writing a review of it. I love it when a book pulls me from the norm.
